  2. Completely different concepts. Among the requirements of the NATO competition there was the ability of taking off and landing from semi-prepared and grass surfaces (like a WWII fighter). A thing the G91 did not only in theory, but often in practice. The A4 was much heavier and had a more powerful engine. Despite that, performances were pretty similar.
