Good video, hard to argue with any of the main points. Just a word on MKVs, the idea now is for ground based radars, including Naval hulls, IIR satellites and airborne sensors to network every piece of data they have into a fused picture to guide the MKVs rather than trying to fit them with expensive, heavy X band solutions.
That may give you the sensor density you require and increase the number of interceptors you have in inventory, but it can still be saturated with even simple decoys.
Missile defence is a numbers game , they have long accepted they are going to have to sacrifice civilian centres in deference to prime military targets so they can counterstrike effectively.
The US is moving towards a layered approach which will include, boost phase , midcourse ascent, midcourse , plus terminal defence and I think the new games in town will be electronic attack followed by space / airborne based solid state laser solutions.
Those Germans have a lot to answer for :P
