Louis, if you believe EU member states cannot unilaterally manipulate Taxation for their own benefit, then neither can the UK. if thats the case, using your logic we can`t deregulate using tax breaks. If France wanted to react to a UK inspired race to the bottom by reducing corporation tax, they would just do it, we did, remember? And we did it whilst government lending was going upwards on the back of a financial crash, i think its naive to believe France or any other big trading nation couldn't mimic us. I think its obvious, the simplistic attitude is very much owned by people like you.

They likely had just a few seconds to make a decison on their own. With the Vincennes, they had calibration issues with their gear. Radars not tuned correctly are an issue in every Navy it is down to operator training.
