  2. They knocked down 14 out of 14 missiles aimed at Kyiv plus 2 out of 2 drones. That included another 6 Kinzhal. Whatever fine tuning they did with Kinzhal is clearly not better than the capability Ukraine has to intercept them and it’s case of diminishing returns. Russia is limited by the donor missile design. They need a clean sheet design and genuine glide vehicle that can manoeuvre at high velocities - Kinzhal isn’t it.

  23. No, it is better. It is hit to kill, unlike Russian equivalents. In a hit to kill intercept, the target is obliterated. A blast frag warhead cannot achieve the same results.

  63.  @harshitsinghbisht8044  I’m not sure that is true today. Perhaps for fielded systems but there are a half dozen designs I can think of that have the capability. German ADS is one. And an Italian system. The trade off is it’s not very friendly to nearby troops.

  64. The Houthis don’t have hundreds of missiles they can aim at a USN ship, the only real threat is a torpedo or a drone swarm but the drone swarm would be seen coming from 500 km away. The DDG-51 has some pretty good and very powerful jammers on board that would be able to burn through any control signals. Autonomous drones present a different set of issues but the 5 inch gun is pretty handy.
