  6. I think people are reading far too much into this as some sort of representative view of overall progress. It is just one event, in some places the AFU have actually broken through Russian lines. The enemy gets a vote and in some places resistance will be stiff, in others UKR will walk right through.

  17. Difference is according to some information on Twitter this unit`s guys got out alive from the M2s and the Leo. It would not have happened if those were BMPs and T-72s.

  23. The truth is if those tanks and IFVs had been BMPs and T-72, those guys would all be dead. Western equipment has superior survivability, the guys in this Op mostly got out alive, the open rear ramps tell me guys got out of the M2 and the Leo looks intact.

  24.  @dragecvragec88  They dont have the same levels of protection as heavier western MBTs. There are apparently videos of Leo2s taking multiple hits and continuing to fight, plus M2s wrecking Russian tanks using BGM-71 - OPSEC is preventing them from being shown currently.

  25. I think everybody needs to relax, reading far too much into this, Russia released this footage, they will not show us where they have failed to prevent breaches and those have happened since Ukraine has already retaken some towns.

  34. If you hit an Ammo truck you will probably take out two more vehicles either side of it if they are lucky. They look like they targeted 2 BUK mobile launchers.

  35. Russia lost more vehicles on day one than Ukraine it seems, Russian channels state they lost some 36 armoured vehicles and Ukraine units had breached their lines in places.

  36.  @nero2179  No, UKR air force still has 60% of its jets, and since they had advance warning of the Russian invasion they were able to get their troops out of barracks and bases, your information is not correct. It is why they are still in the fight after a year and a half.

This is not the D Day landings mate, UKR has not committed all of its forces in one push, what you are seeing are armoured recce probes and forward line breach attempts, this will help unmask Russian positions and show their capabilities. Information vital to Ukraine ongoing. Of course the enemty always gets a vote. If this recce was done in T-72 and BMP, it is likely all of those troops would now be dead, instead most of them got out alive.

  43.  @u.nforcesalx9892  Bro, apparently there are vids of M2s taking out Russian armour with their TOWs and Leos taking hits but still fighting. Due to OPSEC concerns the author cannot air them yet but will do when cleared to do so, some prominent social media posters have also said TOW is very effective right now. As time passes I am sure you will see these vids.

  44.  @Patrick.Datura.  TOW IS used, the M2A2 has the launchers on the top and TOW missiles have already been delivered.
