  1. Everyone can look into the future with a degree of certainty - its called probability. I am fascinated by folks who have off the scale intuitions though - in the military I had friends who just had next level threat detection, all had traits: hunters, combat veterans, some what manic (would go from super chill to intense in a heartbeat pending on the topic).

  2. Its a binary choice as the way he described the outcome - its just backwards planning, will image be cute or ugly. In one double blind 'primer' was image then choice, second double blind was choice then image ('primer'). Also even his reference to six sigma is a probability call out. But six sigma is almost always in reference to defect detection - not a statistical callout of validation or rejection of a null hypothesis as you see in most placebo double blind studies.  @The_Zilli
