Paladin's pair well with Excalibur rounds - amazing systems, got to see them first hand outside of Mosul in late 2017, early 2018'ish
29
Correct - cannalize retreating areas to a specific grid and create a mascal event - when they (if they even can) rush it exfil and provide level 2 med care - hit them again. This will also decimate entire trench lines in support of breaching with armored / engineering elements.
11
They must be sending 2 platoons with a company of mech IN - with specific package, FSC/FLE detachment, and PPT - otherwise its just show / training.

M1's are amazing - and dont get in twisted mech infantry and armor go hand in hand. M1's would shatter the entrenched Russian position in the east with ease. M1's in mass (the ones in storage in Germany) would have a much larger effect on the eastern front then HIMARs for context.
6
Its hard to lose something you never had - their Navy has been and always will be dogshit. On the other hand they are not as bad as China's, so there is that I guess?
4
Good luck scaling to prod - just like the 'hypersonic weapons' they are more akin to Hitler's illusive hailmary weapons then actual threats.
4
Yup and other news water is wet.
2
North of Lyman matters more - that is the real target; cutting off the LOGPAC's.
2
When did the great Russian Bear turn into a spineless Russian weasel? What a sad fate to a once strong nation. Or maybe they found almost all of their nuclear weapons are NMC; who knows right ;-)

@jamram9924 Targets were within Mosul - they were literally using Excalibur rounds to take out Isis fighter and pick up trucks, trying to set conditions for the Iraq army - who were dragging their feet, knowing that once Mosul was cleared, we and our cash were leaving. I kid you not, I saw one night in the TOC the night vision cam and target selection, it was insane they were using Excalibur rounds on random targets of opportunity, lol. Like using a super expensive round to kill two shitbirds in a pick up truck on overwatch.
1
@jamram9924 100% true lol - the only ones that wanted to storm Mosul were the Shiites from the south and those sonofbitches just wanted to kill arabs. Literally I remember a KLE where the southern Iraqi forces leadership sat down with us and upon arrival they were like 'when can we attack'? The arab Iraqi general who had been dragging his feet for months was there, and his fat ass got all bashful, i just asked via our terp why are you folks so ready to fight. The Southern Iraqi officer simply replied 'I will take any excuse I can get to kill arabs' followed by dead silence and 'oh ok, fair enough' from us. The best folks I met in Iraq were the Kurds - they are awesome and deserve their own state.

@GreatPolishWingedHussars take this from someone who has plenty of friends deep in the vaunted 'military industrial complex' - we want in; we want to butcher the orcs and just stop the fucking nonsense - we have no peers; same goes for the Chinese. Beltway bureaucrats and think tank folks mean nothing, just noise - truth is economies are collapsing and we are sitting on the bench saying put me in coach - lets start the endgame. You dont know what tomorrow brings, but we do :-)
1
@GreatPolishWingedHussars You misspelled 'defense' - the secret sauce for why we slaughter you all with ease is due to that fact an 18 year old boy can call in a multi-million dollars strike in seconds. It's our people - we are better then you, our civilization is better then yours - with all our faults, on our worst day we can end you with what we have (meaning just US, not NATO) in Europe. We have not and will not shift Pacific forces or mainland - we are saving that for Winnie the Pooh ;-) You literally no longer have an expeditionary force, and you broke your activity duty component - hell if you left tomorrow you wouldn't be home in months. And I know how big the MIA number is ;-) notice i didnt say KIA or POW - you literally have no clue where tens of thousands of men are. And for the record since Bush Sr, our President's have been weak, and thats ok; our system is best when decentralized - we thrive in chaos, the worse this world war gets the better we perform. But you are right - the American oligarchy is worried about their place post WW3; hence slow rolling - like the last gilded age, the prior oligarchy was destroyed post WW2. Oligarchies dont last long in America - a generation at most.
1
@GreatPolishWingedHussars can you smell that...roasted orcs...we cannot wait to finish what the Ukranians started. Due to Putin's sheer and shaky incompetency there will be no 'mother Russia' by the end of this decade.
1
Threat with what??? He has no military - its a joke, he just has cannon fodder.
1
Putin is such a coward - his 'hypersonic' missiles are a joke just like him. Wait until he and the world realize his nuclear arsenal also doesnt work as advertised and ours does ;-) If your Russian pray that Wagener/FSB execute their coup otherwise there may be no 'Russians' in a few months.
1
After seeing the Russian military in action, can you imagine how corrupt, shitty, and broken the Belarusian military must be? More orcs to the ash heap of history I suppose.
1
And Kadyrov has been poisoned - MoD is prepping for post Putin.
1
I fucking hope so, lets light this candle and end that games. Putin's weak spot is obvious - he is a shakey beta who cant fight other men. Hell, his preferred weapon is poison, a womans weapon.
1
US also has hundreds of sub-hypersonic AGM systems as well, smaller payloads but perfect at eradicating ~700 ICBM's (~3k warheads) that Russia has - just saying ;-) First take out Russia's 3 satellites, cut off fiber, trigger event to initiate targeting of ICBM's and remaining Russian Naval assets. After first salvo - let remaining Russians now next targeting will be civilian centers if you dont surrender. All of our triad is FMC, if I was in GRU or FSB i would be looking for a window to shove the old man out of in the near future.
1
Yes dipshits you are correct and in other news water is wet...LOL - like why is every other military so bad??? Like how is the above news??? Also we knew the war was over back in July by Russian artillery/personal/unarmored RS burn rates and inability to hit targets or achieve and operational victories (let alone strategic ones) - its all just math. Keep your eyes on Melitopol, just saying.
1
What most dont grasp - its the munition and the PAC3 is the little less evolved version of the THAAD PAC3 - in short we can win WW3 with ease and we know this. Only 1200 warheads in play on Russian side - ~200 actual projectiles in total and most are not FMC, and PAC3 is one of many layers and they cant stop anything we send over.).
1
Everything Putin does looks desperate and screams 'little dick energy' - cant wait to watch him get Gaddafi'd. His whole team is lying to him, cant wait to watch him emotionally brake when that realty sinks in.
1
All we have to do is up GMLR pod production numbers...literally that is all, it isnt an issue. DC is so corrupt and lobbyist are so strong I am pretty sure that switch is going to be hit in the very near future.
1
You simpletons at 'Crux' understand its all about the delivery system right? It's all just a math problem from early detection to engagement - it's all about who owns time and space.
1
Bro Excalibur rounds are awesome but they arent our 'secret weapon' LOL - literally all shit we have provided to the Ukrainian's is literally over a decade old. Just wait and watch what the US Navy does to the PLA ;-)
1
@Victor-vj5ds not really honestly - the new shit is multiple platforms around the globe being able to control munitions launched by disparate systems. switchblades are great for small teams - both collecting (ISR) and taking out targets (high val or otherwise). The next evolution of that capability is a fire and forget by end user - meaning your mission is go to a grid pop off and exfil. And someone sitting halfway around the world then executes target post collecting - or AI self executes and reports back later (systemically to a ML Algo) or to a person. Similar concept on Naval and land platforms - like hundreds of switchblades swarming.
1
@Victor-vj5ds yes and no - lets just say aliens have never visited our planet and most sightings are future capabilities. Like F35 goes way back to late 90's. But with modern agile product development fielding is much more rapid. But scaling (operationalization) is the true pain point. And Starlink will be future IAAS - which will support DoD platforms - (think AWS in space supporting Amazon) but there already was a scaled down like system fielded around that 2015 time frame you referenced. I also think PLTR's foundry has a real future with DoD as well, maybe leveraging connectivity, storage, and transmission capabilities of Starlink? The true cutting edge capabilities are those sexy lean super sized drones equipped with lasers. No clue what powers them - maybe mini reactors, who the hell knows? I know rumorint has the their ceiling to be quite high altitude (think ICBM intercept or potentially targeting satellites). Pair that future vs modern Eagle scanner, Sea Guardian, and other small batch variants are more scalable and deployable. Similar to hypersonic weapons - no one talks about Aegis platforms taking out defunct satellites nearly a decade ago in real time. The US Navy is the most destructive force ever fielded in the history of humanity - I cant wait to see it unleashed upon the PLA. That is where much of the sexy shit truly is and most of it is unseen like our EWO capabilities. Also no one ever really talks about naval drones - those do exist and will have similar QB like model of future warfighter jets - where carrier groups will command them: from ISR to munitions at a flip of a switch.
1
Correct - and PAC3s are amazing - once triggered they do the math on their own in order to intercept (pure kinetic).
1
There is an easy way to take away Putin's use of nuclear and bio weapons - hand over Putin's kids and grandkids to Kyiv. Let Putin now what happens to his bloodline if he escalates.
1
Great news for DoD - more data to feed the beast, it will give us a chance to field more countermeasures in real time. Ukraine is turning into the death knell of modern Russia and a real time testing hot bed for the US military industrial complex.
1
That isnt even how HIMAR munitions work - you folks are still behind.
1
He has run out of qualified soldiers and is now running out of other forms of conscripts.
1
Everything Putin does makes him look weak - like white kossack Hussein.
