  2. It means they are going to become solvent in the near future - with the exception of Tesla. If I was Ford I would try my best to get Apple or Google to buy me outright; that is the only way they can survive the next decade. However, Apple like all tech companies hate unions, and Ford is to stubborn and self serving to whats best for its brand and customers. I would say try to see if Buffet could help push Apple to buy GM; but honestly who would want to buy that lemon at the moment.
