  1. Love the content and context. As a field grade logistician in the US Army - the one aspect of the US Navy that always fascianted me was the sheer ungodly amount of firepower. The US Navy's capalities are off the friggin chain - the most destructive force on the planet if unleashed. While I absolutely loved Maverick - I kept thinking for that mission (the culminating event for the film) there were so many other methods to achieve their objective. It was almost as if they really were sending those folks on a suicide mission.
