The dollar is so strong due to the Fed propping up zombie companies and countries that have driven a misallocation of dollars to service bad and underperforming debt - this will lead to less production and higher prices (deflation) as dollars fail to circulate. As defaults occur the demand will only increase the value of USD; think late 1920's - early 1930's.
