  1. The Fed should do an asset swap with Ukraine - 3 x 30 year treasuries for their 45 bil in gold. This would productively be a small step towards planting pristine collateral in Europe while helping the Fed with their BS problem. Rinse and repeat throughout Europe as well - same goes for our APAC allies. Goal would be to offload trillion of treasuries on their BS, while making the Fed the second largest holder of gold behind the US Treasury.
