Markets didnt really the Blackrock and Citadel Algo's are running like hamster on crack - dont get sucked in kids / boomer 401k class. This is a pump as their collateral for their short positions are blue chips and markets etf's, as borrowing cost increase with rate hikes so does their need for more highly valued collateral to stave off margin calls.

@eljefe5858 I dont think Fed understands the system that they govern - monetary deflation is here, larger players now this - watch TLT, best way through this depression is to jack up rates quickly to burn through the zombie paper and wipe out insolvent funds. Only then, at higher rates, can the surviving banks go back to making money by lending into the real economy - we need to re-couple equity markets to the real economy, kill the HFT algo, ATS - financial engineering fee based security lending (rehypothethication) model that has birthed a selfish and nihilistic oligarchy and an insane wealth gap.
