Risk off and deflation... even when we bounce of the SPY's ~400 and go to higher hires - the damage is done and a strong dollar will be here for a while.

@G8tr1522 it depends on DC - if they use this time wisely: subsidizing domestic manufacturing and mining to make up for what the world will lose as China slips further down the path of North Korea lite, I think we will be ok. If DC hesitates I can see an actual depression hitting us - the one we papered over in '08 - and China falls into hyperinflation and then a failed police state. Even if they had a strong economy and robust liquidity they still have demographics and their lack of clean water that would break them eventually. But yes in the short term SPY will tag 400 and post fifth wave (Elliot Wave) breakout we will enter a bearish market.
