No fly zone doesn't help Ukraine and those jets will be better used once Russian fixed wing assets are further degraded - haven't you all noticed the reduction in Russian sorties; they cant keep the pace. I cant wait for the talking heads to explode when the Ukrainians route the assembly areas of the Russian that are currently unprotected on the other side of their border. Russians dont even have an operational commander, let alone secured comms, or unified effort - everyday that goes by the beartraps causes Russia to bleed out more and more. Literally it would take months for them to leave if they negotiated a treaty today - by next month (T+60) They will have lost over 1/3 of their original combat power, deeper entrenched in country, more logistically cutoff, and on the verge of collapse on the eastern front as more resources are syphoned off to entrench defenses in country, not in Ukraine.
