  1. Its called loading to boat - pre SWIFT expulsion, same with what happened with Iran in 2012. Plus winter is almost over in western Europe - if demand is pulled forward SWIFT wont hurt as bad in the near term and they can build a near supply chain in the coming months (US and mid east focused).

  2.  @maximusproliferus3633  devil you know > devil you dont; plus the euro or EU may not last the decade - meaning UK and others will choose US and NATO over EU.

  3.  @SS-lw8iv  It is more of cost vs supply gaps. we - US and OPEC - can meet the supply needs just at a much greater cost. Germany needs some kind of offsetting bargain to make that new supply chain viable.
