  1. Because Tommy is a ho...bought and paid for. The 2 year is the future Fed fund rate that is their north star. They can lie to themselves in December and do a .5 hike, believing the 2 year will drop and the two will meet prior to actual 2 year collapse (recession). In reality it may spike much, much higher and they will get caught playing catch up as economy becomes the Willie Coyote running off a cliff, trying not to look down.
