  1. Yes and no; Amazon will evolve brick and mortar to provide a more integrated experience for consumers: online, pick up, browsing - will all become integrated. This will also include younger small business owners - who will sell on a platform like Amazon; while having a brick and mortar. This segment shows a fundamental lack of understanding of macro trends. Amazon has helped labor and small businesses have helped more than they have hurt. They have reveresed alot of the trends created by Walmart and others the last 20 years. They are also a driver of minority owned small businesses as well, tieing underserved markets to the global supply chain; they will breach retail / business banking soon. I suggest you get out more and meet people who sell products on Amazon; they are just the shelf and shipping (PaaS and IaaS); your ignorance of the firm, industry, their partners, and consumer is disturbingly basic.
