He was unable to fully grasp the effects of globalization; nor did he understand the effect expontential growth of technology creates new products and services that require increased manual labor. Like digital cell phone apps allow for manual uber drivers or Amazon warehouse SAS / logistics create a need for more labor to support the systemic improvements. And I dont think Krystal understands that is the happy trail industries are presenting in order to justify doing more with less - which in turn places more downward pressure on labor (both skilled and unskilled). An excuse to lay off more and pay less - in reality the main driver is the broken global supply chain and run away inflation of commodity prices, coupled with the increase cost of debt as rates tick up.
