@hidesbehindpseudonym1920 It's people not the tools; the bell curve of humanity does not lend itself to the digital age. Their platforms are just mirrors: gather data, feed ML algo, provide forecasted behavior to advertisers. If you dont like what it does to society, that has more to do with the democratization of information - similar how radio led to the rise of fascism and communism. But still, our current leaders are intellectually unfit when it comes to understanding technology, fiscal policy, or monetary policy - they are embarassing.
