  1. IBD was the most accurate poll in 2016 and 2020; within one or two points. Checkout their methodology - i believe the root cause for bad polling is similar to credit agency prior to the collapse of the CDO/MBS markets in 07-08. Major pollster bend over backgrounds to tell clients what they want to hear to get the best contracts while relying on increasingly outdated methods of measurement.
