I think most would be shocked at US's capabilities in this realm - the biggest deterrent for the US has always been our next gen capabilities are no guarantee more like risk mitigation and in a nuclear war if say one third of Russians capabilities are as advertised and we destroy 97% of incoming projectiles or platforms that remaining 3% of 1/3 of their arsenal does more damage that anyone can imagine - as well as cause us to wipe out every major city in Russia; think Carthage of old. That is what no one truly wants - no one in the US believes Russia's numbers and platforms are an accurate reflection of reality and we know there are triggers and leaders between Putin and those tools.

  6. That guys analysis sucked - let me help you: Ukraine is seeking to cut off the main MSR supports resupply of the Russia's main Assembly Area (north of Izium - however you spell it). Also if Ukraine controls that MSR they can push into Russia to destroy or raid Russia's primary Assembly Area in Belogorod. Their limited counter offensive is focused on MSR's that strangle the Russian forces.

  7. As an American who works in banking, former military officer (combat veteran) this election tells you both sides overreach & all wounds are self inflicted. The plurality is choosing lesser evils, GOP lost their red wave once their appointed Supreme Court judges overturned Roe vs Wade (abortion) & Trump's hand picked GOP candidates for the Senate (especially PA and GA) were weak. GOP should have crushed; Americans hate woke and the Biden economy. Best guess - 2024 the next President will be DeSantis and his VP will be Tim Scott, and Trump will not be a factor. This was largely Trump's death knell - much more so then 2020.

  10. They captured nothing - they just stated they will not lift their siege. It is total humiliation of Putin as he needs to shift his forces up to Donbas to have a shot at gaining traction with his last ditch offensive.
