Hypersonic = mach 5 ramjet, descent is on par with other munitions and its slower then say an Isklander munition (mach 7). And much slower then ICBM's (mach 20+) - context matters.

@harveygiannopoulos8391 Correct - but as far as I know the Patriot system as well as the Israeli capabilities can intercept with ease due to predictable decent of munition - in comparison to our smart munitions or say even our high end gravity bombs like B61's.

@occamraiser Not the modern systems - more systemic, as long as systems radar is activated - meaning modern capabilities focus more on when incoming is most vulnerable. Like the Saudi's got hit by Iran's drones because radar wasnt on.
