  1. Very true Putin is horrifically incompetent at war but super strong at statecraft. One thing to think about its really multiple factions: Russian MoD, Wagner, LPR, DPR, Kadyrov, etc Overall their KIA's have been over 100k, but the Russian MoD has been ~50% of overall KIA and WIA. The telltale sign of wrapping up will be Russian MoD protecting more assets, while exposing potential internal enemies to Ukrainian fire power. Wont be shocked if Russian MoD forces fall back to Crimea and seek peace at the expense of the other segments of Putin's remaining military machine.
