Upon descent its the same as any other missile - as long as your paired radar is turned on your good. The reason why the Saudi system missed the Iranians years ago was due to lazy arabs not turning on radar.

Not really - upon descent it acts as any other missile - meaning if your pair radar is FMC (latest version) and turned on (cough - not like the Saudi's) you have similar probabilities of hitting projectiles.

109% correct and thank you - no one reads the white papers lol. There was a Navy white paper a few years back that pushed for direct energy weapons over hypersonic for a myriad of reasons (including ones you outlined). Biggest take away I got from the paper, upon descent they act like any other missile, as long as radar is FMC (and not manned by Saudi's lol) you can hit it. Also I dont think its possible they could carry a nuclear and large payload - they are kinetic.

You have zero secure comms and you all panic so much, your hair is always on fire. And post getting exposed you went back to sadly the more reliable Iranian drones and arrested the hypersonic team (scapegoat) - the PLA isnt happy either, they thought they stole actual useful tech lol. In other news - water is wet, hypersonic (ramjet, scramjet) projectiles are a money pit, why? Well on descent they act just like any other incoming missile. As long as your paired radar is turned on you can hit it (similar probability as other like missiles). The reason why patriots didnt intecept the Iranians (over Saudi oil fields) was that Arabs never activated radar. Literally no one reads military or industry white papers.
