These market makers and short funds are also the owners of legacy media - and use the outlets to spread FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) to steer average americans from buying certain shares. Short and distort has fueled the everything bubble in the equity markets, which is about to burst. In the simplest terms - we dont have free market price discovery in equity markets due to security lending fraud (approved by SEC) in support of naked shorting used to dilute buying pressure.
