  1. China is the most racist country on earth, they want no outsiders (minus white dudes who their women see as trophies or escape hatches). The reason why we have H1B is due to data science and dev folk, there isn’t enough domestic and program was use to drag down domestic wages. AI may solve head count issue, but you still want best and brightest globally, just not at expense of domestic wages.
