  1. Kids here is an example of Grifting: I am an American oligarch who wants bill 'xxx' passed, I have my think tank / ngo or w/e institution come up with a narrative that I can wrap 'xxx' up in. Then I can have my special interest LLC tell politicians I funded and provided insider trading info too (remember Pelosi is only number 6 overall, still 5 more corrupt then her) vote for 'xxx'. Separately I will have the legacy media platform that I own (on both sides off issue aligned by partisan narrative) push and oppose 'xxx' over tribal lines. Partisan monkeys on couches at home fight over sports team and me and mine bank money once 'xxx' is passed. Now, the oligarch who orchestrated is not a grifter in this scenario - the grifters are the legacy media (both sides), special interest, think tanks, politicians, influencers, etc - the ones who get paid to grift off the sheer stupidity of the average and lazy American (on both sides).
