Also - Galadriel's core strength is wisdom; from her childhood on she is seen and wise and humble - with a thirst to rule. By the second age she is also creator / ruler of her own garden of eden of sorts, I dont think there is anything that states she even wears armor then or used weapons as she had the ability to control aspects of nature. And she is the one wise enough to warn of training fake Sauron, but its wisdom - she puts the truth in its place, takes her daughter and heads off, she didnt waste her time arguing needlessly or fighting. Gave advice and moved on, culminating power and protecting the interest of those who followed her. Also, she never fought in the 1st age against the main villian - the pre Sauron, she didnt think they could win. But she does use the chaos and exodus of many Elves who did fight - to rule over her own piece of middle earth post war.
