Thank you for pointing out that child abuse is actually higher in Protestant churches. It's somehow impressive how people stick to it while studying actual Catholic history or knowing what even just the term means in the first place. You're a highly educated person

@emiliascholer9047 What strikes me the most in general, beyond the sheer theological, political and moral issues of the Reformation, how many people especially from the lower classes are systematically trained to hate, offend and vilify the Catholic Church without any historical-religious education or cultural literacy/background on the topic whatsoever. It's a peak of post-Traditional, actually atheistic (look which countries abandoned Christianity altogether and what confession they were before that) anti-standard hatred for the failure in their personal accomplishment. It was this always since ever: we trained billions of people that they shouldn't worry to be human and this is the result. It would be obvious for the lesser to take this literally to avoid confronting with any value and hating anything that remembers them that no matter how they hurry the Truth is faster than them
