  3. I learned early on not to spend cold or hot times in a vehicle, they're either a refrigerator or an oven, very unreliable for survival. Way better to make shift a shelter outside and have a fire if possible(Note: I keep a clear plastic sheet to drape in front of tarp to use as super shelter).   5. Bjorn👍👍 I'm a father of twin boys and have a great relationship with them, even though I was divorced when they were but four and a half years old. I made sure to be a dad to them all through their youth and still to this day. They turn 40 tomorrow the first of March. Now they're grown men, but hunting, fishing, camping, wilderness adventure, etc. was and is part of their life, something we did together just like you and your son😊 Well done sir. Enjoy!

Living in the U.S. I have many freedoms granted by a constitution and bill of rights that are limited or restricted elsewhere, I will not give up those freedoms for any reason. Being a hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman since I was a little boy has taught me many things and yes, I have guns, lots of them and I've never shot anybody, but, if I ever need to I have the ability..thanks to the 2nd Amendment of that constitution. I relish these video messages of yours, hoping more people will decide to watch and live free from tyranny.

Of course all your camps are an enjoyable experience that I find particularly uplifting but there's something about minimal needs that brings one closer to nature.   17. Nice shot! Ruffed Grouse is way different than Spruce Grouse, night and day difference in the taste department. I've hunted and eaten a lot of bird, Ruffies are one of the best eating for sure. Looked like a well deserved meal, a tasty one at that. Thanks for the video, well done.

  18. Yep, good job brother. Been sharpening blades of all kinds for more years than I care to mention. Tried all kinds of ways to sharpen but always fall back on water stones and stopping, best way I know and much more satisfying in the end. With all the newfangled devices and machines on the market, some of which will do a good job, this is still my favorite way. Thanks for the video, well done. Stay safe out there.

  21. Figured the actual processing would be off camera, no worries as I get to see plenty on the Outdoor channels on Dish. Meat looks delicious, what time is supper? A smoker will be a welcome addition to the camp as well as a hide rack for pelts. Maybe those videos will be a bit longer😉 Congratulations!

The question is ; do they maintain them through out the year? Here in the high desert of New Mexico we have lots of dust and sand, we have to clean and treat the leather on a regular basis. Agreed on the all leather option, way more expensive but worth every penny. Thanks and take care.

  107. Bjorn, thank you. Quite right. There are two Americas, #1 East coast - West coast, #2 Everywhere in between- "Fly over country". The East and West coast are trying to dictate how the rest of the country should live and act. Unfortunately, the major population centers are on the coasts and they are predominately far left liberal politically including the media hubs (California/New York). For the most part, the rest of us in "Fly over country" still have our wits about us. TV is abhorrent, I have 250 channels and watch maybe 10 total and not that often. It boils down to the "programming" of the masses.
