  8.  @ravenstrategist1325  The us Navy patrols international waters , I've been to the med 2 times onboard a carrier . Twice a week and alert fighter would launch and fly a Russian bear recon aircraft over the battle group , this was the mid to late 80's .

  9.  @ravenstrategist1325  I'll never forget the first night the gulf war started in 91 , I was on one of the 4 carriers in the Persian gulf . Aircraft launching then recovering them , getting them ready to fly again .
