Trust me, as someone living in the suburbs, I want to get out of here as soon as possible.

@cowfat8547 How can it be true when most neighbors just wall themselves out of the outside world and don't even bother to recognize the community around them?

@timburr4453 Except that at least in New Jersey, some of the best educational institutions are located in cities while the more mediocre ones are in the suburbs. Nice try.

@marcusantimony7535 "Tax me harder daddy!~" the reply. And you wonder why BlackRock is slowly taking over

I mean I grew up in several apartments while my parents had immigrated not even a decade ago. I'd say I'm pretty fine right now.

@cowfat8547 Maybe in the 1950s sure but things have changed quite a lot in the 70 years since. Everybody just stays in their homes, only goes out to visit family, never once bother to even talk with one another and my family hasn't even recognized a single one of our neighbors. It's just depressing

Nah, some of it should be cities or just farmland again

As someone that lives in a suburb, it's painfully boring and there's nothing to do here. The first thing I'm doing after graduating University is moving the hell out of here
1
Lmao BlackRock is already slowly taking control of your precious suburbs
1
@harpoonmcfierce9697 I mean I'm Hispanic and I honestly prefer living with other Hispanics rather than being one of 5 in the suburbs I'm at rn

Most people in the suburb I live at are old and childless, contradictory to what this comment presents. Not to mention that have you ever considered that most of the radical leftards originated or had their upbringing in suburbs?

@logans3365 Seems like we need a new Marvin Heemeyer
