  1. It has been reported that the river is 15ft deep in places but where Nicola is supposed to have fallen in it is not very deep. Also surely you need a reason to go to the edge of the river bank, an example being to retrieve a ball but Nicola stopped taking a ball for her dog from about a year ago and also the dog was dry when it was found.

  2. It has been reported that the dog's harness was on the ground. If it was me i would have taken it off and placed it on the bench at the side of me.
