@johnbrennan7175 Yes, anyone with an ounce of "common sense" can understand it, all except Keir Starmer, some TV news channels and certain newspapers who are anti Boris so they are trying to make out that Boris "is sending out mixed messages, the government is not clear etc".

@kevinparker461 Years ago we had a Labour MP for Rotherham called Denis Macshane and he came across as so genuine and then years later it came to light about something not being right about his "expenses" and something about "false accounting" he was eventually jailed for 6 months. At present the basic yearly salary for all MP's is £81,932 and this does not include their expenses, you can see why some people are attracted to politics. Also there are more than a few Labour MP's who are multi millionaires, Sir Keir Starmer is worth an estimated £3 to £4 million and Jeremy Corbyn is worth an estimated £3 million. There are more than a few hypocrites among some Labour MP's , i remember when it was revealed that Diane Abbott sent her son to a Private School and yet Labour under her pal Jeremy Corbyn voted to abolish Private Schools, oh the hypocrisy.

Sir Keir Starmer is a multi millionaire, his net worth is estimated to be between £3 to £4 million. It has also been reported that Keir also owns two homes a £1.7 million property in Camden and. £600,000 home on Oxted, Surrey. Not sure if Sir Keir is familiar with the working class.

@crimeministerify I never said that Boris was working class. Labour are supposed to represent the working class and it is difficult when there are more than a few Labour MP's who are multi millionaires. Same as the union leader Len McCluskey who a few years ago was photographed at the 5 star Hotel De Paris in Monte Carlo. Are any of these people familiar with the minimum wage.

@crimeministerify Yes I agree. It is the same with "the unions", the majority of union leaders are on £100, 000 salaries and a few years ago Len McCluskey the UNITE union leader was photographed at the 5 star Hotel De Paris in Monte Carlo, some of the rooms are well over £1,000 a night.

I agree totally. Keir thinks this point scoring is endearing, he hasn't got the common sense to know that it is a turn off. Also criticizing and offering no solutions is never a good combination. Labour should be eternally grateful that they lost the last General election and they don't have to deal with this current crisis, i like Keir in opposition, hopefully permanently.

The conservatives have done some good things, for example people pay less tax under them than they ever did under any Labour Government. The last time Labour were in power people were allowed to earn a pathetic £6,475 before paying tax, at present under the Conservatives people can earn £12,500 before paying any tax.

@bobbymills2236 They are both "tarred with the same brush" so to speak, i can still visualise Keir and his pal Jeremy trotting off to Brussels to see their masters during Theresa May's BREXIT negotiations. Labour may have a new leader so "they have changed the record" so to speak but it is "the same old music".

Jeremy Corbyn has an estimated net worth of £3 million but always looks poorly dressed, i don't know what it is with some of these socialists, it is as if they are embarrassed that they have money and in some cases some of these Labour MP's are equally as rich as the so called "Tories".

I think Boris and the rest of the Conservative Government are doing their best in unprecedented totally horrifying circumstances. Paying 80% of furloughed staff wages was announced in days and that was a huge relief to a lot of people.

@Adam A-K Well that is basic common sense for all politicians to look at how other countries deal with things, but it comes across as criticism when a government is in the middle of a crisis trying to problem solve multiple problems at once.

@Adam A-K It will all come out in the wash so to speak. Maybe it was because not all countries are a ,"one size fits all", all countries have varying population size differences. The UK has the same population 66 million as France which is more than twice the size of the UK and not as densely populated.

@Adam A-K It is all a puzzle, there is a lot that is not known about this virus. Also how can we be sure that certain countries are being truthful with their figures?, for example China has reported only 4,633 deaths, typical the country where the virus started has the least number of deaths, lol.

@MobinKiadeh Why did Keir go with Corbyn to Brussels to discuss BREXIT? when Theresa May was there trying to get a BREXIT deal. When I think of Keir it is hard for me to see him separate from Corbyn.

I always found it amusing when it was revealed a few years ago that Diane Abbott sent her son to a Private School and the Labour MP Baroness Shami Chakrabarti also sent her children to a Private School. Last year Labour voted through abolishing Private Schools if they ever got in power, set of hypocrites.
