Nobody has been arrested or charged so far over the dismantling of The Edward Colston statue and dumping it in the water in Bristol on the 7th of June despite them having mountains of film footage.

It would not surprise me if this man was jailed and yet the peaceful "protesters?" who pulled down the Edward Colston statue in Bristol on the 7th of June have still not been arrested or charged despite Bristol Police having mountains of film footage. 👇👇👇

@MsNaplin113 You obviously need to go to SpecSavers.
4
Correct. It would not surprise me if "The Chelsea Pensioners" are classed as "far right" in the near future.

It has been reported in the press that the person who tried to set fire to the flag was apparently a woman and it is not clear if she was arrested. 👍👍👍

From the picture I don't think he pi...d on the memorial at all he was standing next to it not in front of it.

Think about it, who in their right mind would take a picture of a man urinating at the SIDE not ON a monument? and then send it to the media?. I suggest it suits a certain agenda and how do you know that he was not protesting peacefully? do you have any pictures as evidence that he was doing otherwise.?. Also why did Sir Keir Starmer upload this image of this man urinating on his Twitter but no pictures of The Winston Churchill being defaced with graffiti or the woman trying to set alight a Union Jack Flag on The Coliseum?.

@caroll3309 You are correct. The press are extremely unpleasant and devious.
2
Or the peaceful BLM protesters who tore down the statue in Bristol on the 7th of June and yet it is now the 15th of June and despite having them on film they can't seem to find them.

@JP-sm4cs It is difficult with these student loans they are a terrible burden for young people like you. Times have changed, when I look back at my education it was pretty dire but of course when I was sitting in a classroom being taught I thought the teachers and their teaching methods were wonderful, it was only when I got older that I realised that my schooling was poor. Also when I was at secondary school I can't remember anyone going to university, some stayed on at school for an extra two years but that was it. Today the pendulum has swung the other way and nearly everyone is going to University and I think there is pressure on parents and their children to do so, that being said maybe if I had been born later then I would probably have also gone to University. I think the distribution of wealth is unfair and not just in this vountry but it has gone on for centuries. Also I understand people having a dislike for these big corporations but TESCO does employ 450,000 people.

@xxclusive8380 I see the bigger picture, who in their right mind would take a picture of a man urinating at the side of and NOT on a memorial and send it to the media?, i suggest whoever took this photo had a hidden agenda. There has also been media reporting suggesting this man was "far right" or a "thug" where is their evidence?.. Also Sir Keir Starmer uploaded this photo on his Twitter but not the photos of the woman trying her best to set fire to a Union Jack flag while standing on The Cenotaph or The defaced Winston Churchill Statue.

Yes outrageous.

I wonder who took the picture and sent it to the newspapers?
1
Yes, also a mystery how Bristol Police still cannot find the peaceful BLM protesters who tore down the Edward Colston Statue on the 7th of June despite having mountains of film evidence.
1
I don't think this man would have done this if he could have found a toilet.
1
@lisascarrott6142 Or the more important question, who takes a photo of anybody urinating anywhere?, would you take one?. At the moment we have an hostile media that wants to portray anyone who is white and wants to see their historical statues still standing as apparently "far right nut jobs". This man was caught short and having to urinate somewhere because according to some comments finding a toilet in London is like searching for The Holy Grail. Do you seriously think this man didn't try and find a toilet?. The press that have published this photo have referred to this man as "far right" and a "thug" despite having no proof because it suits their agenda. Meanwhile the press are happy to see this man jailed and yet apparently fine with the fact that there have been no arrests in Bristol of the "peaceful BLM protesters" who dismantled the Edward Colston statue and dropped it in the river or the person attempting to set fire to The Union Jack Flag on The Cenotaph, because guess what, it suits their agenda.
1
@shhshh8917 That's what you think.
1
Ken Shabby Maybe you can't understand why it was ever erected but the people of Bristol did in 1895, and what gives these protesters from BLM? the right by their actions to basically override the decision that the people in Bristol made in 1895.
1
@nutboy93 I can't seem to concentrate on what you are saying.
1
@nick260682 Funny if these people who tore down the Edward Colston Statue came onto your property or your families property and started to destroy what they don't like, Bristol Police won't help you either.
1
@herringfly Correct, and coming to every town and city in the UK soon. The people in Minneapolis voted a few days ago to disband it's police force, not immediately but in about a years time and they are hoping to replace them with a "community led public safety system" whatever the hell that is and good luck with that. I would expect estate agents will be under pressure dealing with an influx of people wanting to sell up and get the hell out a.s.a.p.

@JP-sm4cs This link with poverty and crime is debatable with some books describing it as a myth. I remember in the 1970's when people didn't have the things that they have now and it was common then to buy a car and have it 10 to 15 years and have caravan holidays and camping holidays every year in the uk and there was no need for burglar alarms to be installed in homes or cars and in those days people never locked their doors. Also it depends on the individual how they define poverty, to some it is not having a new mobile to others it is struggling to buy food. Also some people have no idea of how to manage the money that they have because they can't prioritise.
1
@JP-sm4cs Yes I agree with some of the points that you made although we do pay less tax under The Conservatives than we ever did under any Labour Government. Under the last Labour government the Personal Allowance (money allowed to earn before paying tax) was £6,475.00 and under the present Conservative Government it is £12,500. I think credit cards are a scourge and in the 1970's and possibly into the 1980's people didn't use credit cards and this made people think more about how to manage their money where as today people can buy virtually anything that they want instantly and it is hard not to give into temptation, of course they have to pay it off but it is the paying it off which is the problem. I remember my first job and I was paid £17.50 a week and i wanted a record player and it took me 8 months to save up and buy it, unheard of today.
1
@JP-sm4cs We will see what happens.
1
Correct.

Except in Bristol where despite the tearing down of the Edward Colston statue on the 7th of June they still have not arrested or charged anyone despite mountains of film footage.
