Alan Bond History shows that Labour's "let's tax the rich" does not work. The singer Phil Collins said he would leave the uk in 1997 if Labour were elected and he did. Sean Connery, Tom Jones and Rod Stewart also left the UK. Also Tony Blair is worth an estimated £30 million and you have to ask yourself how has he amassed such an incredible amount of money. Phillip Green pays some tax in the UK but his business "Arcadia" is in his wife's name. The rich are not that stupid to stay in the UK and be taxed to the eyeballs under saint Jeremy. Labour, once in power, will be taxing the middle classes like they always do because the super rich will have left the UK.

vegangains DOG I would be interested to know if some of these so called "celebs" including Russell Brand, actually pay their tax or do they find a convenient little "tax loop hole".

Like looking at two fruitcakes and after wondering which one to have you then decide that you want neither.

shorelineboy Len McCluskey is licking his lips at the thought of Saint Jeremy being in power. I just hope Mr McCluskey doesn't get too stressed about which picket line to turn up to because there will be many.

Nathan-DTS Food banks didn't miraculously appear under a Conservative Government, they were in full swing when Labour were in power for 13 years but they didn't seem too bothered by them.
