Also if she fell into the river wouldn't she have shouted for help?. There were other dog walkers so why didn't they hear anything?.

It has been reported that the exits have CCTV with the exception of Garstang Lane which they are now requesting more CCTV footage of from the public.

The police are requesting more CCTV footage of Garstang Lane. Apparently all the other exits have CCTV which has been viewed.

@221b-Maker-Street If she entered the water it is odd how her body has not been found. The actress Naya Rivera drowned in a lake in 2020 on the 8th of July and she was found on the 13th July. It has been reported that the river Wyre is 15ft deep in places but I have read that where they think Nicola might have entered the water it is not very deep. Also they have not found any of her clothing, if she was wearing a hat would that have floated off?. I am only speculating.

@Fordmister Apparently she was wearing a lot of very warm clothing including a full length Gillette over a coat and long socks and NEXT wellies, although clothes can weigh you down in water.

@MikeB-nn4nh If she has entered the water I would highly doubt that she was unconscious when she hit the water.

@Simpleburger1968 Anything is possible. On Sky News this morning they were interviewing a search and rescue expert and he suggested that her phone was placed on the bench as a decoy.
