There are more than a few multi millionaire Labour MP's including Saint IKEA Starmer who is reported to be worth £4 to £7 million and Jeremy Corbyn is reportedly worth £3 million.
3
I am not voting for someone who is puzzled by a "Cervix", so this rules out Saint IKEA Starmer.
3
BBAOmega I think you will find it is Labour who have run this country into the ground, it is the one thing that they are very good at. Remember Liam Byrne's "sorry there is no money left" note that he left on a desk as he ran for the hills.
3
The big mistake was employing Allegra Stratton a friend of Carrie Johnson who then did the mock press conference insinuating that some of the work meetings were actually parties. Until this video was released to the media I don't think Boris knew that some of these work meeting were breaking the rules after all there has been a long standing drinking culture in Downing Street were wine was like drinking tea.
2
@oldsailor9022 Might be a bit difficult with the multi millionaire Sir Keir Smarmy (net worth £3 to £4 million). Amazing how tremendously wealthy some of these socialists are.
2
The Lark Hill Retirement home where this Labour MP once worked didn't find her refreshing, they have just issued a statement that reports of a lack of PPE equipment are "inaccurate" and caused panic to residents. Allegedly this MP has been droning on about a lack of PPE.
2
Yes, i put it down to some people having no common sense.
2
It always amuses me that the Labour MP loudmouth or gob on a stick Jess Phillips keeps being re-elected.
2
What is Italy's excuse?, they stopped all flights from China on the 31st of January and imposed a lockdown earlier than the UK but still their death toll is appalling.
2
AintBigAintClever I think you will find there are a lot of millionaires in the Labour party, past and present. Tony Blair is worth an estimated £30 million and he claims a yearly pension worth £80,000. The Tory's may have "sold everything off" but what is the alternative?. I remember when British Steel was nationalized by Labour and my neighbour worked there in one of their offices from leaving school to retirement and he used to boast to my late father how they were all bored out of their minds and they used to make paper aeroplanes and see who could throw them the farthest . Also being "on strike" was a regular past time, for more money of course. Labour's idea of nationalizing everything that moves may seem like a good idea but it does give more power to the union's and hence more strikes.
2
AintBigAintClever I mentioned Labour having a lot of millionaire MP's because a lot of Labour supporters are unaware of this and think that any millionaires are confined to the so called "nasty Conservatives" otherwise know as the so called "rich". On the subject of worker's rights , i am not against worker's standing up for their rights and going on strike but there are always consequences. Take the recent announcement of redundancies at Wilko, they have said one of the reasons for the job losses is because of the recent increase in the minimum wage. Whether people like it or not businesses have to make profits and UK companies priced out of business by a constant striking workforce can go elsewhere, Poland anybody?
2
So who is telling the truth?, this media luvvy Labour MP telling stories about an alleged shortage of PPE or the Lark Hill Retirement Home where this Labour MP once worked who have had to issue a statement that reports of a lack of PPE equipment are "inaccurate". 🙂🙂🙂
2
This woman is apparently an MP, lol, and has been alledging shortages of PPE equipment. The Larkhill Retirement home where this Labour MP worked said that they were well equipped and that reports of a lack of PPE equipment are "inaccurate" and it had caused panic among elderly residents. All MP's have just had a pay rise including this one and they now earn £81,932 basic salary and this does not include their expenses. This is why I stopped voting for Labour and anybody who does all I can say is you get the government that you deserve.
1
@shardii2209 The manager of the care home has spoken out about the inaccuracies and said there has never been a shortage of PPE at the care home not now or ever. Also there had been no cases or death's from Coronavirus so far at the care home.
1
It has been in the online press today that this Labour MP has in the past been spouting off about a lack of PPE safety equipment. The care home where this Labour MP worked "The Lark Hill Retirement Home" have said that reports of a lack of PPE equipment are "inaccurate" and it has caused panic among their elderly residents. This Labour MP no longer works there. Still she should be ok because all MP's have just had a pay rise and they now earn £81,932 basic salary and this does not include their expenses, she could have chosen a career at Asda or Lidl but they don't pay as much.
1
@protectwomenandgirls So they say. Also Boris was away at Chequers on the eve of Prince Phillips funeral when an alleged party took place.
1
EastOfBourne I have and I still have panic attacks.
1
There are some very rich multi millionaire Labour MP's including Saint IKEA Starmer reported to be worth £4 to £7 million and Jeremy Corbyn reported to be worth £3 million. Sometimes these types of people are known as "Champagne Socialists".
1
@TheWatcher369 Good weather for a barbecue.
1
dan taylor You need to read about what happened at Mid Staffs hospital under Labour. I can still visualise Andy Burnham in a state of panic in the House of Common's and I thought "try and dig yourself out of this one Andy", as all was revealed.
1
I am not convinced about the outcome of Saint IKEA Starmer's "beer and curry party" sorry work meeting, which started after 10pm.
1
Amazingly this woman is actually an MP who has been telling the media stories about a shortage of PPE equipment. The Lark Hill Retirement Home where this Labour MP once worked have said that reports of a lack of equipment are "inaccurate" and have caused panic to residents. Labour?, be very careful what you wish for.
1
From who?, this MP or the care home that she once worked for who have just issued a statement saying that reports of a lack of PPE are "inaccurate" and has caused panic among their elderly residents. All MP's have just had a pay rise from April and they now earn £81,932 basic salary, i think we know why she has chosen so called "politics?" as a career.
1
@ricardoortez9812 I must confess that i would love to be on £81,932 a year, just wondering what I can dream up as "expenses", lol.
1
@ricardoortez9812 ............and what is that exactly?.
1
@ricardoortez9812 What a hero ????????
1
@ricardoortez9812 Under duress, lol.😯😯😯
1
I wonder who Peter Osborne will pick on next?.
1
I have lived under a few Labour Governments and they are the stuff of nightmares, i prefer living under The Conservatives any time.
1
Are you sure you speak for everyone who elected her as an MP for "Nottingham East"?, but then some people do have a sense of humour.
1
Mike Harvey Do you remember Tony Blair and his election theme song "thing's can only get better?", well it did for Tony, he is now worth an estimated £30 million. Labour in power?, be careful what you wish for. Still there is Diane Abbott, Emily Thornberry and John McDonnell to look forward to, they are all vipers in the grass.
1
Along with the Labour Party, the party full of fruit cakes with a leader who is puzzled about a "Cervix".
1
Lethal?. Apparently this so called Labour MP has been spouting off about an alleged shortage of PPE. The Lark Hill Retirement home where this Labour MP recently worked issued a statement saying that reports of a lack of PPE equipment were "inaccurate" and this had caused panic among their residents. This Labour MP now longer works there but she will be fine because all MP's have just had a pay rise and they now earn £81,932 and this does not include their expenses.
1
@lauramartin5579 I can think of a few places where she could go but I am to polite to say.
1
@lou9007 Then you need to spend it and enjoy it, after all you can't be buried with your money.
1
@eunice8116 This MP is trotting off to the media at every opportunity that she gets, she just can't get enough air time. The care home manager issued a statement yesterday saying that he wanted to put to rest the inaccurate reports of a shortage of PPE and that there is not a shortage of PPE now or has there ever been at the care home, he also said that there has been no cases or deaths from Coronavirus so far at the home. The fact that it has been reported that Keir Starmer has given his full support to this woman i find appalling, still they won't care because any opportunity to make the Conservative Government look bad is mission accomplished for them.
1
........and then the whole of the UK can then be on strike?. Anyone remember Labour's famous "Winter of Discontent" fiasco when the UK almost became the strike capital of Europe?.
1
When it is cold and i am sitting watching the TV i snuggle up under a few throws/blankets and it save me putting the central heating on. Obviously if it is very cold then I do put the heating on just to take the chill off.
1
Over population in the UK could be a possible factor, we are all packed in like Sardines, you only have to look at the amount of traffic on the roads to see this. I was amazed that the UK has the same size population as France (66 million).which is a huge country compared to ours.
1
This woman alleged that their was a lack of PPE. The care home that this MP was working for has said that reports of a lack of PPE equipment are "inaccurate" and that this had caused panic among residents. All MP's have just had a pay rise including this one and they now earn £81,932, i think we can all see why she chose this line of work.
1
@lauramartin5579 The people of Nottingham East who this MP represents have my sincere condolences.
1
Unfortunately this is why interest rates have to go up to dampen down the stupid prices that people pay for a home.
1
Mudhar Hadi I couldn't care less how many millionaires there are in the Labour party. However, Labour like to point out that the millionaires are confined to the Conservative party and therefore they are out of touch with the working man, when infact the millionaires in the Labour party can't identify with the working man that they are supposed to represent. Jeremy Corbyn would like people to be earning £10 per hour but if he thinks that employer's won't make changes to their staffing levels then he is sadly mistaken. Wilko recently announced redundancies among their workforce and one of the reasons they gave was because of the last increase in the minimum wage. Yesterday ASDA announced 300 job losses.
1
Mudhar Hadi Every company is entitled to pay it's management what the hell they like whether people like it or not. Labour were in power for 13 sickening years and yet they never did anything about zero hour contracts or told overpaid council leaders and their other overpaid staff to put a cap on the hundreds of thousands that they earned every year. Regarding Wilko, they are a family owned company and they have recently announced an 80% drop in profits so they have to do something to stop another BHS type situation. They have said the recent increase in the minimum wage has played a part in their decision to axe staff. Lidl may be able to pay their staff £10 per hour at present, but as they grow they will go down the same road as Wilko and ASDA if they start to make a loss in profit. In the last few weeks it has been revealed that Brighton and Hove council which is a Labour run council have hundreds of their staff on zero hour contracts but Jeremy Corbyn doesn't seem at all interested in this revelation.
1
I would not be surprised if Sir Keir Smarmy tells this woman she has his full support like he does with the rest of the nitwits in his party.
1
The Lark Hill Retirement Home where this MP worked has just issued a statement saying that reports of a lack of equipment are "inaccurate" and it had caused panic amongst their residents. This Labour MP now no longer works for them, still she will be just fine as all MP's have just had a pay rise and now earn £81,932 and this does not include their expenses. Still want her caring for you?
1
@alanrobinson2229 Apparently yes, i have read this story today about this MP online in The Daily Mail and The Mirror, it makes for some grim reading.
1
@alanrobinson2229 🙂🙂🙂
1
@ricardoortez9812 Sometimes there is no reasoning with the deluded.
1
@lheureexquise140 Really?. There are some tremendously wealthy so called socialists including the multi millionaire Sir Keir Starmer (net worth £3 to £4 million) and Jeremy Corbyn (net worth £3 million). I am so relieved that this relevation about this Labour MP has come to light, how embarrassing for her.
1
@theghostoftomjoad7161 It surprises me that these rich socialists are not viewed by some people as the "elite" which they certainly are. Also people pay less tax under the Conservatives than they ever did under any Labour government. The last time Labour were in power the Personal Allowance (money allowed to earn before paying tax) was a pathetic £6,475 at present under the Conservatives the Personal allowance is £12,500.
1
@seankelly5318 Boris Johnson's second wife Marina Wheeler is half Indian and half English, she is the daughter of Sir Charles Wheeler and his wife Dip Singh an Indian Punjabi Sikh. 🙂
1
@GahMehGrrrr Really?, i wonder if his children will agree.
1
@GahMehGrrrr I am sure he has some idea.
1
@GahMehGrrrr What does that make the former Labour Prime Minister Gordon Brown then when he was unfortunately for him caught on a microphone calling a woman a bigot because she challenged him on Labour's mass immigration policy.
1
@lou9007 I bet he wishes he could have sat on that microphone, lol. 🙂
1
@GahMehGrrrr Don't bring old Julius into it.
