BBAOmega I think you will find it is Labour who have run this country into the ground, it is the one thing that they are very good at. Remember Liam Byrne's "sorry there is no money left" note that he left on a desk as he ran for the hills.

AintBigAintClever I think you will find there are a lot of millionaires in the Labour party, past and present. Tony Blair is worth an estimated £30 million and he claims a yearly pension worth £80,000. The Tory's may have "sold everything off" but what is the alternative?. I remember when British Steel was nationalized by Labour and my neighbour worked there in one of their offices from leaving school to retirement and he used to boast to my late father how they were all bored out of their minds and they used to make paper aeroplanes and see who could throw them the farthest . Also being "on strike" was a regular past time, for more money of course. Labour's idea of nationalizing everything that moves may seem like a good idea but it does give more power to the union's and hence more strikes.

AintBigAintClever I mentioned Labour having a lot of millionaire MP's because a lot of Labour supporters are unaware of this and think that any millionaires are confined to the so called "nasty Conservatives" otherwise know as the so called "rich". On the subject of worker's rights , i am not against worker's standing up for their rights and going on strike but there are always consequences. Take the recent announcement of redundancies at Wilko, they have said one of the reasons for the job losses is because of the recent increase in the minimum wage. Whether people like it or not businesses have to make profits and UK companies priced out of business by a constant striking workforce can go elsewhere, Poland anybody?

EastOfBourne I have and I still have panic attacks.

dan taylor You need to read about what happened at Mid Staffs hospital under Labour. I can still visualise Andy Burnham in a state of panic in the House of Common's and I thought "try and dig yourself out of this one Andy", as all was revealed.

Mike Harvey Do you remember Tony Blair and his election theme song "thing's can only get better?", well it did for Tony, he is now worth an estimated £30 million. Labour in power?, be careful what you wish for. Still there is Diane Abbott, Emily Thornberry and John McDonnell to look forward to, they are all vipers in the grass.

Mudhar Hadi I couldn't care less how many millionaires there are in the Labour party. However, Labour like to point out that the millionaires are confined to the Conservative party and therefore they are out of touch with the working man, when infact the millionaires in the Labour party can't identify with the working man that they are supposed to represent. Jeremy Corbyn would like people to be earning £10 per hour but if he thinks that employer's won't make changes to their staffing levels then he is sadly mistaken. Wilko recently announced redundancies among their workforce and one of the reasons they gave was because of the last increase in the minimum wage. Yesterday ASDA announced 300 job losses.

Mudhar Hadi Every company is entitled to pay it's management what the hell they like whether people like it or not. Labour were in power for 13 sickening years and yet they never did anything about zero hour contracts or told overpaid council leaders and their other overpaid staff to put a cap on the hundreds of thousands that they earned every year. Regarding Wilko, they are a family owned company and they have recently announced an 80% drop in profits so they have to do something to stop another BHS type situation. They have said the recent increase in the minimum wage has played a part in their decision to axe staff. Lidl may be able to pay their staff £10 per hour at present, but as they grow they will go down the same road as Wilko and ASDA if they start to make a loss in profit. In the last few weeks it has been revealed that Brighton and Hove council which is a Labour run council have hundreds of their staff on zero hour contracts but Jeremy Corbyn doesn't seem at all interested in this revelation.
