In the UK we have the highest death toll in Europe from COVID-19 at over 42,000 and we are a small country but we have a massive population of 66 million. Sweden has a population of just over 10 million people and it is 1.9 times larger than the UK and it has a low death toll from COVID-19. America has a population of 328 million and over 200,000 deaths from COVID-19. America also has a large population of over 65's and an obesity problem which could also be a reason for the high death rate.
