  3.  @MrRyan684  Yes Japan is a bit of a puzzle with such low figures. For elsewhere there are certain risk factors including age, low immune system, certain medical conditions and obesity. When I was a child in the 1960's (yes I am really that old), you never saw anyone overweight and there were no fast food restaurants like McDonald's or Burger king etc, people cooked their own food more.

  4.  @MrRyan684  Yes I find these present times that we live in quite depressing, these conglomerates are taking away people's skills and soon no-one will want too or be able to cook. Also crafts are disappearing like knitting, crochet, sewing etc, although the actress Julia Roberts likes to knit so there is still some hope, lol.

  10.  @MrRyan684  In the UK we have just over 41,000 deaths from COVID-19 out of a population of just over 66 million people. In the USA they have over 160,000 deaths from a population of 328 million.

  11.  @MrRyan684  The population of France is 65 million and the population of the UK is 67 million and yet France is more than twice the size of the UK. Maybe countries with people living cramped together like Sardines is a factor with the spread of COVID-19.
