I was reading an interesting article which stated that heart disease was rare in America at the turn of the century but between 1920 and 1960 heart disease increased and during this time butter consumption plummeted. The article suggests that the introduction of Margarine may be a factor in heart disease because butter has Vitamin A which protects the heart. I think the governments are killing us all off with bad food and telling us that Butter is bad. Also salt is added everywhere to our food.
