In the UK we have the highest death toll in Europe from COVID-19 at over 42,000 and we are a small country but we have a massive population of 66 million. Sweden has a population of just over 10 million people and it is 1.9 times larger than the UK and it has a low death toll from COVID-19. America has a population of 328 million and over 200,000 deaths from COVID-19. America also has a large population of over 65's and an obesity problem which could also be a reason for the high death rate.

  39.  @johndee759  Yes, CNN should be neutral but they are hounding Trump, their hate campaign against him is relentless In an ideal world socialism should be a better alternative, in UK we have had a few socialist governments but they have all left the UK in a financial mess including one socialist government in the late 1980's almost turning the UK into the strike capital of Europe and the unions became so powerful that they had almost taken over the socialist government..There was also a too generous benefit system where people in the UK were getting more money on benefits than what people were getting from going to work. Not sure what the answer is, Trump is definitely a force to be reckoned with but if Biden wins the election how long will he be doing the job and Kamala Harris is obnoxious, inexperienced and reckless and she and Biden don't get on.   51.  @charlesljones2454  Our neighbour who caught COVID-19 works at our local hospital as a cook and she just lives with her husband as her only son left home years ago. like I said before she did not pass it on to him. I don't know if she was asymptomatic and how long she had it before she tested positive as I am trying to keep my distance. Still amazing to think that she did not pass it on to her husband. It is possible that once she found out she had COVID-19 she wore a mask and tried to keep her distance.
