aditya aher It's the government's responsibility to make sure that people don't have to live in illegally mouldy buildings. It's not like the country doesn't have enough money to pay for them.

aditya aher "Have fewer kids and budget better." You do realize that India is a severely corrupt country with (in mány places) strict religions that encourage people to birth as many as possible? The man is the head of the family and therefore decides if he wants another child and most of the time, they want to. The whole family will suffer because of that, not to mention you seem extremely narrowminded when you suggest that there are too many people to pay for. Indian government and police and authorities have enough money to buy everyone a normal home.They just choose not to, because why would they, it's theirs now, they took it from everyone.

@k10cdra77 I don't mind your views at all, but if India was a democracy, which it isn't, then this type of poverty wouldn't exist. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The government doesn't do anything about it, but encouraging this type of change and that is a recipe for this type of disaster.

@k10cdra77 No, the government hás that money, but they're spending it on themselves. Also, free houses isn't something I ever mentioned.
