  1. Babies need skin-on-skin-contact with the mom, not to be alone after such a traumatic experience. Imagine being pushed out of a hella tight tube as an adult and while you nearly choked and your head got crushed and you were screaming your lungs out, you then get wrapped up in a cloth and put in a cold scale and put in a plastic box. No. Unless the child is in immediate danger, it needs to be held, by both parents, preferably all night.

  2. WHY do they take the babies away into the nursery? People thát is the moment the babies need to bond, need to be held (preferably skin to skin) so they can grow attached to their parents (not literally ofcourse) and then after about half an hour, you can start giving it away to others. Not directly!
