Some Dutch (true) equivalent funny names; - Waterchicken = Coot - Jesuschicken = Coot (they walk on water) - Flying rat = Seagull - Float-melody ("Drijf-sijs") = Any waterbird - Melody (sijs) = Any flying bird - Talk-melody (praat-sijs) = Parrot - Roofhare = Cat - Roofhare = (occasionally) burglers or people fixing the roofs. - Farmer's nightingale = (frog) - Canal-chicken = duck - Spray-carp = Whale I only know the ones above-and-including Roofhare though, the rest I found online, appareantely only sóme Amsterdammers use those.

@first1097 Hahaha, I never encounter enough foreigners, except tourists. I did take licorice with me, when I visited London, hoping to find some folk there. But they're very afraid of communicating it seems xD Everyone just ran away after; 'Hello.'
