  1. LouisNees 1. Because it is important to show doctors, incase there's something else going on, this is befóre they knew what was happening. They probably comforted her before this, they didn't 'just' decide to videotape it. 2. What else could they do? The ice wasn't working, what else? Just pat her (painfull) back and say; I know honey?' 3. If was private, it was meant for doctors, but this video does show what happens and how serious it is. I'm pretty sure she gave permission to show the world her suffering, so that they could understand her (and other people's) disease.

  2. Some things that might make life better to handle for her;  1. Lots of nights out, walking around at night in the park, going to amusementparks at night, everything at night.  2. A decorated and 'happy' room, if she needs to stay inside for that long. Maybe a (close-able) ceilingwindow that you can cover if neccessary, so that very little light dóes come in, but no direct sunlight. 3. 'Pimped' protective clothes. I'm not bitching on what she's wearing now, absolutely not, but I think if you decorate the gloves with glitters or her name, she'd enjoy wearing them more.
