Many people can imagine how she'd feel. I think that part of your brain has gone numb. With feelings, I mean. That happens more often to people that have been through a lot. I'd like to quote someone you might've heared of. "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." Only in this case it's a woman. Valueing life, Larry, is not weakness, it's strength. She overcame her own fear, because the fear of the mouse dying was bigger. Don't downplay that.
