  1. +David Kelp Guns are made to shoot, to threathen and to injure with. Nothing else. Self-defense and attack. Cars are made to travel around in. There's a big difference. Same with knifes. I canot use a gun to 'shoot up' my sammich in half. And maniacs cannot easily kill 10 people with a knife either. So the knifes can stay. And sure, when a rushed and upset person comes and asks for a knife, you simply say 'no.' and call the cops. That's called logic.

  3. +Truthseeker Teachers are supposed to teach, not gun down their students if they 'snap.' That's asking for trouble. Get guncontroll. We (The Netherlands) have no guns and no schoolhootings or stabbings, apart from 2, I believe, a while ago. With 2 slightly injured people. The whole country was shocked and upset at it, I'll have you know and we temporarily raised the security. For 2 slightly injured people, because someone waved around with a knife, (in 2003 or something?) We have a densely populated country, 18 million. No guns. You guys can have Gun-CONTROLL. Just think about it.

  8. +Zzig I can imagine kids with anxiety are pretty harmless as long as they don't get their hands on guns. I mean knifes can do damage, but that's easily controlled if they try...they'll make two victims at most. But guns...they can just murder the classroom within minutes. If the guns are not available to them, there's no shootings.
