Well, they are, because they often 'open up' a bit if they have one. Somehow, with big plush animals, my sister figured out how to work the crane and won 6 things in a row after she figured it out. She made people pay her double the price (1 dollar crane means you pay 2 dollars) and she'd pay the money herself if she lost the toy anyway, you'd get all your money back. But she won everytime, the people were happy and there was a whole line behind her, waiting untill she'd get one for them too.
